Thrash opened with Eric Draven headed to the ring area. He took a mic and said: "Welcome everyone to the new IFW's premiere of Thrash! Thanks to all of you Macon IFW fans who showed up tonight... are you ready for some major tag-team action?" Draven received a loud pop. Logan Bricklayer, the official IFW ring announcer, was about to introduce the competitors for the first matchup, when an official came running to the ring. He handed Draven a piece of paper. Draven studied the note for a moment, then took the mic again. "It appears that we have an extra set of competitors for tonight's tag-team tournament. Kane and 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan will be participating." Bricklayer nods, takes the mic from Draven and announces the first match.

Tag-team Tournament Match 1: Ken Shamrock/Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash/X-Pac
Shamrock and Goldberg came to the ring with their nFo shirts on. They came out to quite a pop, despite their nFo-affiliation. Nash and X-Pac came out to hip-hop music, greeting the fans on the way to the ring with crotch chops.
Shamrock and X-Pac started the match. Pac and Nash showed some excellent teamwork, with frequent tags and by keeping Shamrock to neutral corners.
Shamrock got in the hot-tag to Goldberg. Goldberg came in and cleaned out the ring, putting X-Pac on his back with a spear and clotheslining Nash out over the top rope.
Just about this time, there were three visitors to the ringside area. Booker T and Dan Severn came to ringside, evaluating their competition. They both grabbed spots at the announcer's table, and stayed throughout the tournament.
The third visitor to ringside was Scott Norton. Nash had climbed back into the ring by this time, and kept a close eye on Norton. Norton made no attempts to interfere in the match. In fact, he seemed to be scouting out Kevin Nash.
Goldberg eventually got the win with the Jackhammer over X-Pac, as Nash and Shamrock were brawling on the outside of the ring. The rest of the nFo came down to ringside to congratulate Shamrock and Goldberg.

Winners: Shamrock/Goldberg by the Jackhammer in 00:08:46

Tag-team Tournament Match 2: Kane/Hollywood Hogan vs. 'Eyes of Ice' - Austin/Malenko (fitting, isn't it?)
Austin and Malenko came out to loud cheers, while the team of Kane and Hogan (wearing their nFo shirts proudly) was not so popular, but as usual, Kane came out and lit the turnbuckles on fire.
During the matchup, Raven could be seen entering the first row ringside. He appeared to be followed by a grunge rocker... wait. Is that Jeff Jarrett? Why yes it is! It appeared that Jeff Jarrett has given up country and gone grunge to join this new Flock, Raven's talking about.
The match started to heat up quickly, when Kane caught Austin off his guard. He put Austin down hard with a couple of hard fists, but Austin rolled to the outside and shook off the cobwebs.
Kane tagged out to Hogan, who had some problems keeping Austin under control. Finally Austin got to his corner and tagged in Malenko, who cleaned Hogan's clock. With a suplex and a hurricanrana, 'Eyes of Ice' were now in control of this matchup.
A quick eye-poke by Hollywood allowed him enough time to get to his corner, however, and he tagged in Kane, who came in and chokeslammed Malenko. Then the wheels fell off. Austin came in, pissed as ever, and began kicking on Kane when Kane went for the pin. He kicked Kane right in the head and apparently got in a lucky shot, because it knocked Kane over, appearing to be out cold. Malenko went for the pin, but Kane kicked out at two.
Malenko dragged Kane from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, hitting his head on each one. Hogan tried to interfere, but the ref pushed him back to his corner, allowing Malenko to dropkick Kane in the knee and turn him over for the Texas Cloverleaf. Kane submitted after a few moments.

Winners: 'Eyes of Ice' by the Texas Cloverleaf in 15:35

Tag-team Tournament Match 3: The Hart Brothers vs. Curt Hennig/'Marvelous' Marc Mero
The Hart Brothers came out to mixed heat, while Hennig and Mero came out to loud boos. For some odd reason, Owen Hart came to ringside with a laptop computer. Bret didn't seem to question it, so neither did the fans.
Hennig got the quick upper-hand with a low blow to Owen Hart. Owen was kept to Hennig and Mero's corner with quite a few double-teams. Bret wanted desperately to get in.
After some back and forth action, Bret Hart got a tag and came in to quickly put the Sharpshooter on a lying down Mero. Mero got to the ropes pretty quickly, with a little help from his partner.
After a double-suplex by the Harts, Marc Mero was down for the count. Bret Hart went up to the top-rope for a flying elbow and hit it, tagging out to Owen who then went for the cover. Bret was quick to keep Hennig from breaking the count, and Owen got the 1-2-3. The Harts hugged and showed off their sibling gold to the crowd.
Owen and Bret left ringside, but Owen came back to grab his laptop, which, much to the crowd's confusion, was never utilized during the match.

Winners: The Hart Brothers by pinfall in 14:53

By the luck of the draw, The Hart Brothers got a bye for the second round.

Round two began with Shamrock and Goldberg headed to ringside for their matchup against 'Eyes of Ice'.

Tag-team Tournament Match 4: 'Eyes of Ice' (Austin/Malenko) vs. Ken Shamrock/Goldberg
Austin and Malenko came out to an incredible pop, followed by Shamrock and Goldberg with an equal amount of applause. The crowd appeared to be a bit torn by this matchup.
Goldberg and Malenko locked up, and Goldberg threw Malenko around the ring like a ragdoll. Goldberg appeared very determined to win this matchup. Malenko quickly tagged out to Austin, who was a much better matchup for Goldberg.
Goldberg and Shamrock, however, kept Austin tied up in their corner, double-teaming him and wearing him down with quick tags. Austin was on the ground when Malenko ran in for the save. Malenko and Austin took control of the match and got the double irish whip on Shamrock and Goldberg.
The referee got some control over this matchup, and decided that Austin and Shamrock were the legal men in the ring. Austin got the drop on Shamrock when Shamrock whipped him into the ropes. Shamrock went for a back body drop, but was greeted with a Stunner. He went for the pin, but Goldberg came in for the save and tagged Shamrock out. Malenko distracted Goldberg on the outside of the ring, and while his back was turned, Austin got the rollup for the 1-2-3 pin.

Winners: 'Eyes of Ice' by a rollup cradle in 10:42

Tag-team Tournament Match 5: 'Eyes of Ice' (Austin/Malenko) vs. The Hart Brothers
As the match began, Owen Hart placed the mysterious laptop at ringside again. No one seemed to question him, except for Logan Bricklayer, who held the laptop during this matchup.
All four competitors showed strong teamwork. In fact, this entire match was a very back and forth matchup.
Eventually, Owen and Bret got the upper hand and teamed up on Austin in a neutral corner. The ref made his customary 5 count, causing Bret to head back to the outside. Owen whipped Austin into the ropes and followed him in, clotheslining him over the top. Owen left the ring after Austin and was met with a roundhouse right from Dean Malenko. Austin and Malenko ganged up on Owen Hart when Bret came from behind with a chair, knocking Austin out cold on the floor.
By this time, the ref was at an 8 count, and Owen was on his way back into the ring for the win, when Malenko grabbed some tights and pulled Owen back to the floor, since he didn't have time to push Austin back into the ring. Bret hit Malenko with the chair as well, but it was too late. Owen had lost his balance and fell back to the floor, making it impossible to get back into the ring before the 10-count was up.
Eric Draven came down to ringside after this match and announced immediately that there would be a rematch between the Hart Brothers and 'Eyes of Ice', and that the rematch would take place on this coming Monday Knights. Both teams agreed to it.

Winners: Draw, due to double countout

nFo Interview

The nFo's music came on and the entire nFo came down to the ring, led by Hogan and the Phenom. Hogan grabbed a mic and said: "You know, brothers, the nFo was the first stable to strike some gold. Mr. Ass over here..." Billy Gunn bows gracefully "...has graciously decided to donate his gold to the nFo glory. Oh yeah, he'll keep the belt, but it's not the IFW US Heavyweight title anymore. It's now the nFo US Heavyweight title. Actually, not yet... here, let me see that." Gunn took off the belt and put it on the ground in front of Hogan. Hogan pulled out a can of blue spray paint and painted 'nFo' across the front of the belt. He looked at it like an artist, gave the kiss of success and handed the belt back to Billy Gunn, who then fastened it around his waist. The nFo walked out to very loud boos.

Scott Norton vs. Tokyo Magnum (w/Mystery bodyguard)
Norton came out to some heavy booing, and was followed up immediately by Tokyo Magnum. He looked at the camera and smiled, saying "The Mock Daddy have arrive. My dancing make you women go in-sane." Magnum was accompanied by a beautiful Oriental woman, 5'7" and very slender with large breasts. The two were followed by a very large black man. When the three got down to ringside, the crowd cheered as they recognized Magnum's bodyguard as Zeus. Magnum kissed his woman deeply and nodded at Zeus, before he entered the ring. When he got into the ring, he proceeded to dance for a few moments, ripping his pants off at the end. Magnum's woman glanced over and smiled at Raven and Jeff Jarrett, who seemed oblivious to the whole thing.
Norton rolled his eyes and began throwing Magnum around the ring like a playtoy. Magnum tried to fight back, but it was totally in vain, as Norton 'no-selled' every move Magnum tried.
Eventually Norton pulled a shoulderbreaker on Tokyo, who was out cold in the middle of the ring. The Oriental girl got up on the ring apron and argued heatedly with the referee, jiggling her tits as she did. She caught Norton's eye for a split second, but that was all Zeus needed to jump into the ring and hit a DDT on Norton, putting him out cold as well. While the ref was still distracted, Zeus rolled Tokyo over onto Norton.
The beauty jumped down off the ring apron to a few hoots and hollers. When the ref turned around, he counted the 1-2-3 on Norton, giving Magnum the win. Zeus carried Tokyo out of the ring and into the back area.

Winner: Tokyo Magnum by pinfall in 07:34

Carribean Strap Match: Konnan vs. Jesus Castillo
Konnan and Jesus came out with almost the exact same ring attire on, Jesus obviously mocking Konnan's clothing. Konnan got on the mic and said "Odelay! Arriba la raza!" Then Jesus grabbed the mic from his and said "Oyale! Dormo tu madre!" He laughed out loud, but Konnan seemed genuinely pissed.
The referee attached the strap to each competitor and started the match. The two competitors started out with a test of strength, which ended when Konnan kicked Jesus in the midsection, and began whipping Castillo with the strap.
Konnan made his way to the first turnbuckle, saying "Yo, let's get this thing over with quickly, hombre, I got me some bigger pescado to fry." Jesus was dragged along by the strap, but got up quickly and threw the strap around Konnan's neck, effectively choking him.
Jesus looked like he felt somewhat out of place, not being able to pull off his high-flying techniques. He released Konnan and then continued strapping him over the back. He pulled off a top-rope bounce suplex, putting Konnan out, and he headed for the first turnbuckle, tagged it, dragged Konnan to the second turnbuckle, tagged it, and started out for the third when Konnan rammed him right into it.
Jesus fell back into the corner and Konnan proceeded to ram a shoulder into Castillo's gut. Jesus turned things around by throwing Konnan into the same corner and applying rapid fists to the face of K-Dog.
Konnan looked a bit dazed. Jesus put him up onto the top turnbuckle and superplexed him onto the mat. He then pulled Konnan up and DDT'd him in the middle of the ring. It was an easy journey at that point to go around the ring and tag all four corners, giving Jesus the win. After the bell, Jesus strapped Konnan a few more times before he was released from the strap.

Winner: Jesus in 09:12

Eric Draven's chat with 'The Warrior'

Eric Draven came down to ringside and took a mic. He called out the man called 'Warrior'. There was no response. "Oh Warrior. I am requesting your presence here in the ring." Still no response from the Warrior. He said: "Alright Warrior, you want to play games, we'll play games. If you don't choose to join a faction by the end of this broadcast tonight, you will be out of the IFW for life." Draven left ringside, mumbling a bit to himself. He spotted Raven and Jarrett on his way by and grumbled some more.

Cruiserweight championship match: 'Lionheart' Chris Jericho vs. Disco Inferno
Chris Jericho came out to loud boos. He smiled at the fans from the ring and grabbed a mic. "Hey hey... everyone here knows I love the city of (he looks over at Logan Bricklayer, who whispers in his ear) Bacon, Georgia... but right now, I'm here to win a big match against the funkified, boogified, Rock'N'Roll Inferno!" The erupted more boos throughout the Macon arena. He looked down at the two refs on the outside and said, "What're you guys doing here. Don't you know I'm your role model? Your Paragon of Virtue? You don't think I'd cheat, doya?"
Disco came out and boogied for a few moments before the starting bell rang. Disco went right for a lockup, which turned into an armbar by Jericho.
Jericho got pushed into the turnbuckle, followed up by Disco, who rammed a shoulder into Jericho's midsection. Disco took obvious control of the match, putting Jericho flat on his back on the mat on many occasions.
After a few moments of a sleeperhold, put on by Disco, Jericho pulled off a textbook snap-mare. He looked very proud of himself. He kicked Disco a few times while he was down, picked him back up and put on another armbar. Disco reversed the armbar. Jericho broke the hold and ran to the outside. He grabbed his belt while the ref in the ring wasn't looking, stood up on the ring apron and hit Disco with the belt.
Jericho hopped into the ring, dropping the belt down below, and went for the pin. The in-ring ref turned around and began the count. He was pulled off by one of the ringside refs. The two referees had a brief conference, when the in-ring ref called for the bell. Logan Bricklayer grabbed the mic after listening to the ref and said, "As a result of a disqualification, the winner of this match... AND NEW Cruiserweight champion... Disco Inferno!" Jericho jumped up and got in Bricklayer's face. "What? Hey, I can't lose my belt like that! I was disqualified! Give me my belt back!"
Eric Draven headed down to ringside with a book in his hand. Jericho took a mic and said, "Hey there, Derick... an injustice has gone down here! That belt is mine..." Draven took the mic from Jericho and opened his book. "Actually, Chris, no it's not. According to rule number 47, subsection 6, part B of the IFW rulebook: 'All titles are subject to change by disqualification.' You're not in that silly WCW anymore, Mr. Paragon." Draven closed his book and headed back to the locker room area, leaving Disco to celebrate and Jericho to cry.

Winner: Disco Inferno by disqualification in 08:43

Chicago streetfight: 'The Rock' Rocky Maivia vs. Goldberg
Maivia came out to the ring with the rest of the Million Dollar Corporation, giving the crowd their usual cocky attitudes. The Corporation laid in wait for Goldberg for a few minutes. When Logan Bricklayer had announced Goldberg twice, the referee was about to call the match a forfeit when Goldberg's music came on. Goldberg rushed down the aisle wearing his Georgia Bulldogs uniform, #95! He ran into the ring and took Rocky by surprise, bum rushing him and knocking him over with the three point stance.
Rocky stood back up and unleashed a flurry of moves on Goldberg, knocking him out of the ring. Goldberg was attacked on the outside by D-Lo Brown, Val Venis and Al Snow. They threw Goldberg back into the ring, where The Rock got in a low blow, putting Goldberg down hard, despite his 'extra protection'.
While Rock worked over Goldberg in the ring, someone headed to ringside. The fans recognized him as Owen Hart. Owen was still carrying that mysterious laptop. Owen snuck into the ring while the ref was busy admonishing the Corporation, and thwacked Rocky square on the skull with the laptop, putting Rocky down for the count. Goldberg slowly got to his feet, as Owen Hart jumped back to the outside of the ring. A few moments later, Owen Hart showed up on the FantasyTron, smiling widely. He said: "Hey Rocky, I heard you've been looking for me. Apparently you weren't looking hard enough." Hart turned and walked into the back.
The Rock had stood up and was listening to Owen Hart, with Goldberg ready for the spear behind him. As soon as Rocky turned around, Goldberg hit him right in the gut with a football helmet, and instead of the leg-takedown, he continued pushing him until he was up against the turnbuckle. He rammed his head into Rock's stomach a few more times and let him drop.
The Corporation tried to interfere in the match, but Goldberg just threw them all out of the ring. He put Maivia up in the Jackhammer and pinned him cleanly, 1-2-3.

Winner: Goldberg via Jackhammer in 06:30

At this point during the show, Raven and Jeff Jarrett stood up from their ringside seats and left the arena. They didn't appear to care too much for the last matchup.

At this point in the match, the Warrior's music came on and he ran out from the back, wearing a MILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION SHIRT! He came to ringside and pulled Kane out onto the floor as the ref was distracted by Val Venis. The ref turned around and saw that Kane had landed out on the floor, and called for the bell, giving Val Venis the win. The Warrior jumped up into the ring, after knocking Kane to the floor. He raised Val Venis' hand in triumph. Val and the Warrior hugged briefly and began to head back to the locker room area, when the Warrior tapped Venis on the shoulder. When Val turned, the Warrior kicked him hard in the stomach and put him up into the Gorilla Press slam, dropping him from the ring all the way down to the floor. Venis looked up in pain and surprise as the Warrior tore off his Corporation shirt to reveal a typically flashy 'Warrior' shirt that said "IFW - 4 - LIFE".

Eric Draven was seen smiling on the FantasyTron in the back of the arena, as we fade to black.

    Winner: Val Venis in 24:07
